There will be no regular post this week in honor of the holiday of Pesach. I will not be working this week.

I will not be working and posting this week due to our holiday observance. This post was prepared and scheduled to go out ahead of time.
Many people are somewhat familiar with some of the Pesach observances. Pesach, known in English as Passover, commemorates our national liberation from Egyptian bondage–although it is so much more than that. It is when we became a nation. A People. (Yes, the capital was intentional.) However, our holiday observances are not just commemorative, but are actually a time to relive the experience and “teach it to our children”.
The children are the focus of our “Pesach Seder”. And it is so built into our collective DNA to pass it on to our children that study after study has shown that the Pesach Seder is the most widely kept Jewish observance–even by the most assimilated. Some may have deep philosophical discussions analyzing wide-ranging Talmudic texts until sunrise and others may have a quick family dinner. But, nonetheless, they get together as a multi-generational family in recognition of Passover.
So, even though we have established that Pesach is so “widely know”, I have included some links below if you would like to know more about the holiday.
